The PA Garden Expo - now in its sixth season - is a premier garden show in the Mid-Atlantic region. Beautifully landscaped gardens cover more than half of the huge 211,000 square foot Exposition Hall of the Harrisburg Farm Show Complex. Top landscape contractors and state conservations agencies and organizations build magnificent walk-through gardens of 1,000 - 5,000 square feet with elevations, boulders, hardscapes and most with water features. Surrounding the gardens and Market Faire are spacious aisles with park benches and garden cafes creating a uniquely pleasant atmosphere for an enjoyable day.
Seeing gardens in full bloom the first week of March is impressive enough, but it's the information and ideas that are at the heart of the [PA Garden] Expo. It's getting your questions answered, bouncing ideas off some of the area's best landscapers and browsing through some of the latest gardening and outdoor products - all in one place.

The Boston Culinary Group is the new provider of all food and beverage service at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center. We look forward to working with them to provide our attendees with quality concessions at a reasonable price.

Quality vendors and exhibitors from all over the region and throughout the United States compliment the feature landscaped gardens. Vendor products include gardening tools, equipment and furnishings, herbs, cut flowers, bonsai, bulbs and seeds. There's garden art, floral containers, fencing and patio and outdoor furniture and accessories. Also, there are gift items and clothing for gardening and outdoor entertaining along with Pennsylvania Preferred Products for tasting and for sale.
A full schedule of seminars and how-to demonstrations are conducted throughout the 4-day Expo. Presenters include master gardeners, experts on herbs, bonsai, pest control, container gardening, flower arranging, garden design and tree, shrub and lawn care.
Horticulture students building landscaped gardens has become another major attraction. Beginning in 2005, students throughout Pennsylvania are invited to build theme gardens. This feature has attracted more families from across the state to visit the Expo.
